Duration: Each session typically lasts between 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the area being treated.
Sessions: Most clients require 1–3 treatments, spaced 6 weeks apart, to achieve optimal results.
Maintenance: Results can last several months to years. Periodic maintenance sessions may be recommended based on individual factors.
💬 What to Expect During and After Treatment
During the procedure, you may experience a mild snapping or tingling sensation as the laser targets the blood vessels. Post-treatment, some redness or swelling may occur but usually subsides within a few hours.
WHAT IS THE AFTERCARE ADVICE FOR VEIN/VASCULAR TREATMENT?
Avoid sun exposure and use a broad spectrum sunscreen
Avoid heat (saunas, hot tubs, excessively hot showers/baths) for 48 hours post treatment
Avoid irritating skin products (scrubs, exfoliants or retinols) for 3-5 days after your treatment
Avoid strenuous activity for 3-5 days post treatment
Avoid hair removal in treated area for 2 weeks after your treatment.
Compression stockings are optional for the treatment of leg veins.
Notify your practitioner of any concerns (blistering, excessive redness/swelling etc)
Follow any additional instructions given by your Karma skin therapist.
🚫 Who Should Avoid Vein & Vascular Laser Treatment
This treatment may not be suitable for individuals who:
Are pregnant or breastfeeding
Have active skin infections or open wounds
Are currently using photosensitizing medications
Have a history of keloid scarring
Have certain skin conditions (e.g., active eczema, psoriasis)
